She wasn't allowed to listen to music that wasn't religious. Her father is very strict. But I would send her a cassette every week with music to impress her.
He told me to meet him because he wrote me a song. We met and he sang it to me while playing his guitar. The song was great but it sounded familiar. He asked me if I liked it and I said, "yes, but isn't that a Joan Sebastian song?" His face dropped. "Wait, you know that song?," he asked. Of course I knew the song, everyone listened to Joan Sebastian. We both couldn't stop laughing.
